Zendaya is not afraid to speak her mind whether it is shutting down haters who have inexcusably called her parents "ugly" or being a confident young judge on Miss America, this girl can pretty much do it all. But, even after all of her accomplishments, she still feels like people don't take her seriously! She recently gave an interview about how young people have real knowledge that shouldn't be overlooked.
"Of course I’ve had a problem with people taking me seriously because of my age. People are always going do that because you’re less experienced, you haven’t lived as much," she said. "And in a sense it is true that there are certain things that you only learn with time. But I think that there are also a lot of things that young people know that older people don’t."
Zendaya continues, "I think when you’re young you’re a lot more open-minded, and sometimes you’re a lot more perceptive about what’s going on in the world.” We could not agree more!
The K.C. Undercover star has really broke out onto the scene as a young woman with a voice and she acknowledges that what a person has to say is very powerful. "If you take the time to learn about something, and educate yourself, then you have a voice, and you’re allowed to use it.”
