Zendaya has always been known to speak her mind and the fact that she is so open, honest and fearless about what she's passionate amount is one of her many admirable qualities. Just recently, someone on Twitter compared her body shape to that of piece of candy and instead of firing back, she decided to make a bit of a joke and actually compliment this person for their creative insult.
Obviously, saying something about someone's appearance like this is never okay, but Z doesn't let the small stuff get her down ever. Who could ever forget when she shut down a comedian who tried to skinny shame her and make her feel bad about the shape of her body? Z totally handled that with class, bringing up how she's a pro at setting people straight with facts.

And she reminded everyone to love themselves, no matter what, like the boss she is.
In case you're unsure what the "paragraph" Z was referring to in that previous tweet, this was a call-out to the time when host of the show Fashion Police, Giuliana Rancic, made rude remarks about when the K.C. Undercover star wore her hair in dreadlocks at the 2015 Oscars.
"There is a fine line between what is funny and what is disrespectful. Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, because I was hit with ignorant slurs and and pure disrespect," Zendaya wrote on Instagram. "There is already harsh criticism of African American hair in society without the help of ignorant people who choose to judge others based on the curl of her hair," she continued. "My wearing my hair in locs on an Oscars red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our hair is good enough. To me, locs are a symbol of strength and beauty, almost like a lion's mane."
Did she slay, or did she slay? Her comeback skills are all about taking the high road and educating others, while still being fierce and fabulous, without ever being mean herself. She proved this once again when she wore her glasses while serving as a judge at the 2015 Miss American pageant, and she came under attack for well, wearing her specs. Of course she has the most simple, yet honest response back to all the haters.
Seriously, she is forever and always the queen of class and grace.
So let Zendaya serve as a guiding light if you will on how to properly respond if you're ever feeling like someone is unfairly judging you or is just plain old misinformed. She's the master, after all.
