She's always surprising us! Disney Channel star Zendaya just announced that she has officially joined the judging panel for the 2016 Miss America pageant. (So that makes her a singer, an actor, a shoe designer, a book author, a motivational speaker (?), and now a pageant judge, too. Wow!)
In a statement, Zendaya expressed her heartfelt excitement for the opportunity.
“It's great to be part of a show that celebrates women who are in college or graduated, and striving to make the world a better place,” she said.
The 95th anniversary show is already proving to be a star-studded affair, although two spots on the panel remain unfilled. Z joins the likes of already-announced judges Brett Eldridge, Amy Purdy, Kevin O'Leary, and Taya Kyle.
“I remember watching Miss America as a kid, so it's an honor to help celebrate the 95th anniversary of the competition and to help select the next Miss America,” Zendaya said.
