With Fourth of July right around the corner, chances are you're freaking out, running all over the place, trying to nail down party plans. Well, never fear because here at M throwing together an awesome get-together last minute is basically our specialty.
Here's an idea: Forget the whole elaborate party-planning thing and just keep it simple, easy, and most importantly, poolside. As far as decorations, you can keep that understated, too. We love the idea of this super easy DIY beach ball garland. It makes a great conversation starter and will bring a festive element to your outdoor area.
Here's What You'll Need:
Paint (blue, yellow, and red, or which ever colors you want your beach ball to be)
Blue painter's tape
Hot glue gun
Divide each ball into six equal parts and tape off each section. Paint with your first color and let it dry. Once dry, remove the tape and repeat for the next two colors, going one color at a time. Leave a white section between each color. Once all the colors are dry, dot some hot glue on top of each ball and place the string on each dot. Cut your string at the end but make sure you leave room so you can tie it up. You don't want the garland to be so tight that it's taut — you want it to hang!
