Beauty and the Beast will finally be making its way to theaters in two weeks and even though we're now down to the wire, that doesn't mean the first-looks and sneak-peeks have stopped rolling in. In fact, there is yet another snippet of a scene that was just released, and it just further proves how magical the live-action version of this classic animated film is actually going to be.
In the new clip, the Beast is seen going to invite Belle to join him for dinner, with a little help from his enchanted household objects/BFFs. Little does he know that Belle is actually trying to find a way to sneak out of this castle she is a prisoner in, but he's doing his best to charm her and not just, you know, be his typical grouchy, not so much of a sweet-talker Beast self.
That smile though. It's literally the same as in the first movie!
There's the fact that Belle is an inventor this time around, instead of her father only being the one to gets to create new gizmos and gadgets, and Gaston's sidekick Le Feou will have more of a personal plotline, which will focus on how he's coming to terms with his sexuality. This is something the movie's director Bill Condon said he is proud to be showcasing, since there really hasn't been any prominent LGBTQ representation in a Disney movie before. This film is for sure going to be nothing short of magical.
