The cast of Girl Meets World has proven time and time again just how close they really are when the cameras aren't rolling. The main stars all consider themselves a family and have such solid friendships, but it looks like not everyone feels this exact way about each other. Rowan Blanchard herself was directly asked about one cast member in particular and well, she got 100% honest and real. Who exactly did she kind-of-sort-of drag? Well, it's Uriah Shelton, who plays Riley's uncle, Josh Matthews.
It all began on Instagram when fans were flooding Row's comments section, asking her to "end Uriah." This came about because he just recently liked a post saying that society doesn’t need feminism, and there have been instances on his Instagram account where he has posted images and comments that fans have deemed to be insensitive and don't necessarily coincide with Rowan's more positive outlook. Rowan is outspoken in the best way and is often using her platform as an actress to raise awareness about important issues, such as feminism and racism, somethings her fans find the most admirable about her. So when they kept asking her to chime in on things Uriah has said, she simply responded saying his actions just aren't worth her precious time.
CAN WE JUST TAKE A MOMENT.
Rowan has no problem voicing her opinions, but she doesn't want things to go any further than this since well, to her it's just pointless. But her one statement definitely says a whole lot! We here at M made sure this comment was legit and we in fact took this screenshot straight from her Instagram comments ourselves. So it looks like Rowan and Uriah most likely won't be having any off-screen hangout sessions and although they might not agree on things, they still remain professional and can work together for the sake of the show!
But as it turns out, Uriah went ahead and not only confirmed that he and Rowan aren't on speaking terms, but that she doesn't even have his number. He shared the text message he sent Row right after it was announced that the series had been canceled, but it "wasn't delivered" most likely to the fact that Row either got a new phone number or blocked Uriah's. Yikes.
Uriah did share a heartfelt message with Rowan, and it seems like he genuinely meant what he said to her. He didn't tag her on Twitter, just simply tweeted "For Her" along with the screenshot of the text, perhaps hoping she would just see it on her own. It's a bit heartbreaking for GMW fans to see that these two haven't spoken to each other since 2014, when he last messaged Row for her birthday. Although not everyone is going to get along, hopefully she did see Uriah's kind words.
