The One Direction member decided to spread even more good around to those directly affected by this event by making a special call to a young girl named Freya Lewis – who was not only at Ariana’s concert but also seriously injured and has required multiple surgeries; and will require many more.
Hazza called Freya the moment she came out of surgery on May 27th, according to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and Sixth Form College's website, where the progress of many students are being recorded.
The two spoke for a while, and the “Sign of the Times” singer told his young fan that he loved her, then shared the same sentiment with her father.
How incredibly sweet! The call definitely meant a lot to the family, and even though the conversation wasn’t very long, it’s wonderful to hear that Hazza is doing what he can to help those affected and the many lives lost.
This is one event the world is still having a hard time understanding and wrapping their heads around, but knowing that Harry took time out of his incredibly busy schedule to do something like this is very heartwarming. Surely many more memorials and kind gestures from celebrities and those alike are to come, in the wake of Ariana announcing her own benefit concert in Manchester to help the victims of this tragedy.
Our thoughts continue to be with the victims, families, and everyone else affected. Here’s hoping that the world continues to band together in the name of love, music, and good.
