It's safe to say Camp Rock is a legendary Disney Channel Original Movie. It's the musical that brought Demi Lovato into our lives, gave us the Jonas Brothers/Demi friendship that will last a lifetime, the epic Shane and Mitchie love story, and some truly catchy songs that you probably will never get suck out of your head. Joe Jonas played the one and only Shane in the movie, the lead singer of the super famous band Connect 3, and during his recent Reddit AMA, the singer confessed his true feelings about being a part of the movie when he was asked on a scale of one to 10 just how embarrassing he thinks the movie is now.
"Oh my god. My dance moves in Camp Rock were so terrible. I thought I was killing the game, too. Actually, Tyler The Creator posted it one day and I was like, 'Oh, cool! Tyler thinks my dance moves are sick!' and I realized he was just totally calling me out and the way I danced, but respectfully. I think my flat iron hair and my squeaky voice are a little embarrassing. Also, I watch it now and realize it was so many years ago, it is really bad quality. It just reminds me of how much older I am now. I'm 27," Joe said. "1-10 rating of how embarrassing Camp Rock is to me now, 10 being the most and 1 being the least, I'm going to give it a solid 8. When I see old merchandise from Camp Rock days or somebody is like, 'Oh my god, Camp Rock is my jam,' I really have a hard time believing them."
OK NOW JOE, way to truth some major truth on us! Since the movie was made such a long time ago, it's understandable why he would be a little embarrassed about it. 2007 was literally a completely different time! But Camp Rock truly is a beloved gem, whether Joe wants to realize it or not.
