Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about friends.
M reader Hadley-Bear wrote: "This year I'm graduating from elementary school so I have to go to a different middle school. I love the school and I have lots of friends there, the only problem is that my BFF is going to a different school. I was planning on going to the same middle school as my BFF, but then I checked out another school and I loved it. Ever since my BFF found out I was going to a different school she won't sit with me or play with me and she cancels all our plans. Plus today at lunch I sat next to her and she got up and sat at the other end of the lunch table by herself. What should I do?"
And M Girl's answer is: "It's tough switching schools from your BFF. Make sure she knows that you are going to a different school because it's a better fit for you, not because you wanted to leave her. And just because you are switching schools doesn't mean you can't talk any more. It can be hard to keep in touch with a BFF from a different school, but it is totally doable. Just make sure you are both willing to put in the effort. Good luck!! "
