It's the end of a horror filled era. It was announced today that Fox has decided to cancel the spooky yet often hilarious series, Scream Queens after two seasons. We know, initial reaction is to simply well, scream.
But it seems like Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show and other beloved classics like Glee, felt like he had met the finish line when it came to the series that starred tons of your faves like Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Billie Lourd, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Taylor Lautner.
"It is an anthology series, and Ryan felt that he told the story over the two seasons, he felt the story was complete. There is no plan to go back and tell more stories," the chairman of Fox, Gary Newman, said during Fox’s upfronts.
So Ryan was ready to move on when it comes to storytelling and it looks like the Chanels and their wild and terrifying adventures have met their official demise.
But at least there are two seasons worth of craziness to look back on and the show gave us tons of memorable moments. It's the show that brought Ariana Grande back to TV, even if it was only for a few episodes since her character suffered a rather gruesome fate. And the fact that the cast really bonded off-screen and Taylor and Billie are head over heels in love IRL now makes it clear their connections to each other will last forever. Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Dean Munsch on both seasons, took to Twitter to share a short but sweet message letting everyone know she had a total blast working on the series. Oh and she basically admitted she was the infamous Red Devil all along.
OK, so do we actually believe her though?! The true remaining mystery.
