This Transformation Tuesday, we thought it'd be fun to take a look back on what the Disney parks used to look like years ago. Since Disneyland's opening day back in July of 1955, a lot has changed. The characters' costumes have been updated, the castle has been revamped, and even your favorite rides — like the Mad Tea Party spinning teacups — have undergone construction. Not to mention, Disney World now boasts two — count 'em, TWO — castles, a new 'Little Mermaid' feature called Ariel's Grotto, and the Dumbo Storybook Circus.
We rounded up 13 amazing before-and-after photos that show just how much change the Disney parks have seen in the last 59 years. Are you ready to see these dramatic pics?
