I'll Always Remember: See Which Movie Co-Stars Fell In Love For Real

When actors are working on a movie, they obviously spend a ton of time together and when you're filming a romantic flick, well sometimes sparks end up flying off-screen too. One of the most tear-jerking romantic movies is hands down A Walk To Remember, which just celebrated it's 15th-year anniversary. Mandy Moore, who played Jamie in the movie, opened up in a new interview with Entertainment Weeklyabout how she kind of fell in love with her on-screen love, Shane West. BRB, SOBBING.

"Shane was so cool. Everything about him – the way he dressed, and the music he listened to. He was the character to me and there was definitely a part of me that absolutely fell in love with him. I don’t know if I could discern the difference between him and the character at that point in time because, it was my first experience doing anything like this. I was just so caught up in the moment and the experience," she said.

"Shane was so wonderful. I didn’t know what I was doing and he’d done movies and he was on a critically acclaimed TV show. I felt incredibly lucky right off the bat that I had someone who was as willing to work with me and who was patient and understanding. He was just the perfect partner for that," she continued.

OK, so they didn't actually date in real life and Mandy admits she was totally caught up in the moment of filming this movie, which is why she developed this major crush. Who can blame her really? It's sweet that she's telling this story now and clearly Shane was the best person to be her romantic lead in the first movie she ever did. Oh, the memories. Don't mind us while we listen to "Only Hope" on repeat now.
