Arnold Godoy for ***M* Magazine**
You may have heard of a little movie called Descendants? ;) It's a continuation of the classic Disney stories we have come to know and love, as if follows the children of the most notorious villains of all time: Cruella De Ville, Jafar, the Evil Queen, and Maleficent.
The new Disney Channel Original Movie is set to debut on Disney this Friday, July 31 (right before the premiere of the spinoff series BUNK'D) and M recently chatted with Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, and Booboo Stewart all about their new movie, starting with the super intense choreography they had to learn.
The trio admitted that oftentimes while on set, choreo would be changed last minute! With all those last-minute alterations, M had to ask: Where there a lot of mix-ups related to the musical numbers during filming?
CHECK OUT OUR INTERVIEW WITH THE CAST BELOW:
"I think when we were on set, we actually all had it," Booboo EXCLUSIVELY dishes.
"We had been doing it for so long, we got it actually every single time," Sofia agrees.
"That was one of my biggest fears, being the only one to mess it up," Booboo confides. "I’m fine with messing up during a scene but messing up during a musical number when you have 30 professional dancers who are going at it behind you and then you're there doing the wrong arm?"
Even though Cameron has been dancing for years (his character Luke breaks it down all the time on Jessie), he can totally relate to Booboo's biggest dancing fear.
"And then once you mess up once, the whole rest of the dance is horrible cause you’re trying to figure out, 'where are we?' and it’s all bad," he confesses.
"But, we really got it. [During "Rotten to the Core"] the floor was like this, slanted and broken so that was cool to have to get used to working on something like that. It was a cool challenge," Sofia says.
But Sofia seems to be the only cast member to think the slanted floor was cool!
"How was that cool?!?!" Cameron asks. "It was a challenge, but I don't think it was a cool challenge!" Although, Cameron did eventually come around. "It's a good story, so I'm glad it was slanted."
